Es común ver esta especie en este lugar, consiguen comida, que no aren los campos con rejas le quita una posibilidad de alimento, aquí hay mucha mojarras, pejerreyes, lo que matan las hélices de las lanchas, y los desperdicios de pescadores en la costa.
