365 Birding Challenge 2015 - South America

Annual Competition observation and photography of birds in South America during the 2015.
The competition is individual, but are encouraged to share with groups of friends, because that is this, enjoy and help find more birds around us.

The records support platform is EcoRegistros annual competition, where from published records for each participant ranked contestants are automatically organized for each of the regions in the "Observed" and "Documented" category also are made of listings automatically registered in 2015 by each participant in each region, and more species, you just have to publish records of bird species observed throughout the year.
Also the monthly rankings of all registrants will take.
The material can be used to enrich the Freebirds project online guides species.
There are no prerequisites and the event is free.
Can anyone participate, begins the first day of 2015 and ends the last!

Tawny-throated Dotterel (Oreopholus ruficollis)

Con un último registro que data desde hace más de 25 años y declarado extinto localmente en el libro rojo de las aves de Ecuador en 2002, el personal técnico con apoyo de Guardaparques de la Reserva de Producción de Fauna Marino Costera Puntilla de Santa Elena, confirmó el registro en 2015 del Chorlo Cabezón Cuellicanelo (Oreopholus ruficollis).
Especie considera extinta de Ecuador, solo registrada en La Península de Santa Elena en el siglo XIX, fue re-descubierto por primera vez en el mes de Junio del 2015 por un guardaparques de Remacopse e identificado por el director del Museo de Ballenas Ben Haase.
El ave permaneció en el sitio por varios meses pero con avistamientos intermitentes, se desconoce si fue un migratorio austral o un remanente de la antigua población.
