Walter Prado me comenta: El canto efectivamente es de un Melanophryniscus y aunque la grabación es muy breve casi seguramente sea de M. rubriventris, por la distribución geográfica. Pero todo el género tiene este tipo de vocalización de varios tonos similares repetidos seguido de un trino de duración variable.
