Description: Brownish back, wings, and tail, with reddish sides of the neck. White underparts with blackish barring on the flanks and undertail. Greenish bill.

Sexual Dimorphism: Nonexistent.

Geographic Distribution: In Argentina, found in the north (except the west) to La Pampa and Buenos Aires.

Habitat: Reeds and swamps.
