Description: Brownish-red back, short whitish postocular stripe, short cinnamon-colored tail with black subapical band and ochraceous tip, white throat, ventral side whitish with ochraceous on the chest and strong brown streaking. Beak and long legs are pinkish.Geographic Distribution: Misiones and northeast of Corrientes.Habitat: Forests, in the lower and middle strata.Behavior: Ground-dwelling, running, resembles a Thrush, more often heard than seen.Diet: Arthropods and invertebrates.Author of this description: Jorge La Grotteria
