12 Horas BIRDING CHALLENGE Jardín Botánico Provincial

We invite all observers and photographers to participate in the challenge 12 Horas BIRDING CHALLENGE Jardín Botánico La Pampa, competition of 24 consecutive hours within Jardín Botánico Provincial, Toay, province of La Pampa, Argentina; consisting of observation and photography of birds searching for as many records of different species and the more evidence records. The competition is individual and is encouraged to share with groups of friends.
The categories are:
- Most observed species
- Most species documented
The support platform competition is EcoRegistros, where are made the registration to the event, publication of records and photographs obtained by each participant, check the published material, organization of user rankings and presentation of final results. In addition, lists of species recorded by each participant are made, the list of all species recorded in the contest and more...
The competition is organized by Birding Challenge, EcoRegistros, Proyecto Freebirds, ASIO (Visión Natural) and the Dirección de Recursos Naturales de La Pampa.
All material on competition generated is stored and available in the database EcoRegistros, and can be used to Proyecto Freebirds.

In addition to the game that this competition implies, the information generated is a valuable scientific material; for example, in the previous editions of Birding Challenge, we have obtained new information about displacement, distributions, nesting species, etc.
